PMO & Delivery

PMO & Delivery

Overview

PMO & Delivery team oversees business projects (e.g. insights-as-a-service) and ensures that projects are completed on time & within budget. Also, the team is accountable for planning, organizing & directing the delivery of specific projects. Our PMO function is specifically managing the demand pipeline and driving demand management and prioritization process as well as taking responsibility for demand fulfillment of data service deployment requests (e.g., new use cases) from capture to evaluation to planning. As part of the project delivery, we work cross-functionally with Products Owners, Analytics teams, other BUs or Clients with capturing business requirements of service requests and inbound demand.


Data Governance

Data Governance

Overview

DataX's risk management is responsible for risk strategies and operations, including managing, identifying, evaluating, reporting and overseeing the organization's external and internal risks.

Data Governance

Risk Management Office oversees overall DataX risk management including technological risk and operational risk, etc. This core function works collaboratively with various other risk management functions to ensure that potential risks and data are properly managed in accordance with external and internal regulations, framework and policies, and resolve risk-related issues. It also serves as a point of contact of liaising with SCBX Risk Oversight Committee to ensure DataX’s compliance with regulatory requirements as well as maintaining strong engagement with the regulators.

Information Security

Information Security function is responsible for the continual development of security processes and controls within DataX, building and implementing security processes and procedures in order to mitigate and respond to risks. This team is also taking responsibility of establishing data security controls to protect DataX’s systems and carrying out necessary assessments to identify and eliminate security risks, and remediating any security breaches (e.g. software attacks, theft of intellectual property, Cloud vulnerabilities).

Data Governance Office

Data Governance Office is accountable for defining data governance strategies and policies for DataX, and for enforcing them across DataX and Monolines, including managing day-to-day data governance operations. This function is also responsible for the development and management of DataX metadata to ensure that the metadata dictionary is standardized and up-to-date. Additionally, this function is involved in defining and ensuring that data quality standards are implemented and practiced across the enterprise, and responsible for monitoring and remediating data quality issues.

Data Protection Office

At DataX, we are committed to ensuring that all of our customers' data is protected and that our work complies with the data protection legislation. Hence, the Data Protection Office exists to ensure data privacy compliance across DataX in accordance with the data protection and policy regulations (e.g. PDPA, GDPR), as well as serving as main point of contact between DataX and the relevant data protection authorities.


Legal

The Legal function is responsible for the legal aspects of DataX's business such as providing legal advice on topics including labor law, partnerships, ventures and corporate finance.

Compliance

The DataX compliance team is ensuring that the Company's business and operations are in accordance with the law or official rules and regulations imposed by the official regulators, including the Compliance Policy of the SCBX's Financial Group. It focuses on the process of developing an effective prevention, detection, and response/collection in the event of a violation.

Overview

The Strategy and Customer team is a key connection point between customers and DataX where we are responsible for client success in using our business as well as finding and onboarding key strategic partners who could enhance our solutions.

Strategy & Partnerships

The Strategy & Partnerships function is responsible for business strategy and partnership acquisition management, as well as driving business excellence by tracking business performance and innovation. Additionally, this key team helps managing and reporting key business performance metrics to expose the drive of new data offerings development, ideating new initiatives for exploration and supporting the piloting of initiatives as well as subsequent operationalization.

Customer Success

The Customer Success team is managing and grooming DataX's total relationship with our customers, and supervising customer operations within DataX. The team is working closely with the customers to support the clients in utilizing DataX’s offerings, increasing customer loyalty and building long-term client relationships so that they that will continue to use DataX products and services.

Technology

Overview

DataX Technology function is responsible for overseeing Data & IT-related functions, and managing DataX's technology resources and software/systems development needs.

Data Engineering

Data Engineering team is the crucial function responsible for defining data development solutions and data transformation, including database architecture, design, and creation, optimization, deriving conversion and migration methods for existing data. The team's initiative is to create the holistic technical vision and architecture for data products and services.


Data Ops

Data Operations team is accountable for operating and maintaining DataX data tools and services. The main tasks are identifying and resolving the root causes of incidents, and preventing recurrence of incidents related to these errors in DataX. In addition to the mentioned roles, the team is taking care of creation and execution of QA/test scenarios to help ensure quality delivery of data products and services.


Tech Engineering

Tech Engineering team is responsible for the build and creation of software and apps e.g. front-end components for an insights-as-a-service request, as well as design & develop technology services for DataX.


IT

The IT function is responsible for the management of user devices (e.g. laptops) and services accesses including provisioning and maintenance of IT assets (e.g. apps, software). This is the well working in collaboration with Data Ops teams to provide and support DataX’s applications and platforms, such as enterprise and business support applications, cloud platforms provisioning, development environments, software tools and sandboxes. Also, the team is working on consolidating & tracking service requests, and providing helpdesk support as the initial point of contact.

Overview

The Analytics team is responsible for managing data and analytics-related services and driving the use of data for data science use cases and insights development.

Analytics Centre of Excellence (Data Science & Data Analysis)

This is a team of data scientists and data analysts who are wrangling with data to develop useful insights and transfer those to analytics and AI solutions. The team is also responsible for building a collection of analytics knowledge for the group.


Analytics Factory (ML Engineering & MLOps)

This team is accountable for developing, delivering, and maintaining production-grade machine learning and AI solutions. They are also responsible for tracking the model performance to ensure efficiency and make ML development more productively reliable.


Innovation Lab

This quick squad would explore, incubate, and test a high potential end-to-end analytics and AI solution for the group which might expand to become the new product(s) later.


Business Intelligence

BI team is managing data visualisations into fruitful reports and rich insight dashboards. They are also helping with ad hoc analysis for internal clients.
