About Team & Role

As the Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building statistical and machine learning models and deploy analytical solutions to support operations and business decisions. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to draft plans and implement end-to-end solutions from model development to testing, validation, deployment, and lifecycle support.



  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges.
  • Translate business problems into well-defined data science solutions with measurable objectives and deliverables.
  • Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques on large and complex tabular data and draw insights with actionable recommendations.
  • Work with business, engineering and risk management teams to implement end-to-end process from model development to testing, validation, deployment and lifecycle support.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Research, study and develop new tools and new frameworks to enhance our data science capabilities and drive our customers’ data mindset and strategy.
  • Discover and harness new ideas to fertilize new discoveries that can make a difference.


  • Open-minded customer focused quick learner with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and desire to explore and keep up with the latest technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or other areas that are highly quantitative.
  • Knowledge in probability, statistics and machine learning applied to tabular data.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience as a data scientist, statistician or machine learning engineer.
  • Excellent proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Hands on experience with frameworks like scikit-learn, pandas, Spark MLlib or others.
  • Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate back to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication with professional level Thai and English, both verbal and written.
  • Independent as well as great team player and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience and domain knowledge in banking, finance, insurance, payments, investing or similar industry.
  • Experience in model risk management.
  • Familiarity of relevant laws and regulations governing data, e.g., PDPA.
  • Experience in one or more specialized areas, e.g., A/B testing, recommendation systems, deep learning, NLP, optimization.
  • Experience in working with MS Azure stack and Databricks.
  • Outstanding coding skills or software development background.
