About Team and Role

At DataX, we recognize the critical role that effective risk management plays in our operations. DataX Risk Management division is responsible for data governance, privacy, security, technology risk, operational risk, model risk, business continuity, legal and compliance. We are tasked with development and execution of risk management strategies and ensuring the integrity of our processes and the safeguarding our organization.

This role sits within CRO Office of the Risk Management division.

As a dynamic and innovative AI/ML startup operating in the fintech industry, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Risk Change Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute in design and development of our risk management processes in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be exposed to new ways of working, new risk management techniques, complex business model, and a collegial working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CRO Office to oversee cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of risk management and change management projects.
  • Develop business case of new business processes, technology implementation, and business models.
  • Apply a structured methodology for planning, budgeting, designing and leading change management activities.
  • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Leverage change management methodologies, process and tools to drive change adoption within the company and, where relevant, with other sister companies.
  • Support communication efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.
  • Assist in creating customized training programs and support facilitating workshops to enhance risk management practices across the organization and relevant third parties.
  • Stay up to date on emerging risk management practices, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or any relevant fields. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PMP, Prince2) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a professional services firm or technology/financial services.
  • 2 to 15 years' experience in project/change management. Compensation and level on offer will match experience.
  • Strong knowledge of change management and risk management frameworks, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing risk projects in alignment with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
